All your stuff is each other's when married. Doesn't matter if it's separate

Do separate accounts but make sure you can see everything

Then divide up bills

But have a budget and plan

Wife and I have separate checking accounts and credit cards. Somehow we are married after 10 years...:eyeroll:

I agree with this completely. I just see separate accounts and each person being responsible for an allotment of bills and/or extraneous needs each month while having the comfort of knowing that it's our money.. to be more flexible and taking a bit of hassle out of the process by leaving it up to the individual to fulfill their obligation without the need to convene as much during the month.

Sorry, maybe I'm not explaining it in as much a transparent manner as I'd have liked
