Weren't the Casinos in BR and Nola supposed to fix the entire state's education woes? 20 years later, We now have about 20 casinos and our public education still sucks donkey dicks.

I agree on the political crap but by the same token the money the local sheriffs spend on paying deputies to complete tons of paperwork just for a simple misdemeanor for a joint they found cost money and etc. use the deputies to stop all the damn child molesters and rapist and the bad criminals.

I don't understand why this is so hard. Legalize marijuana with certain stipulations.
1. If a company drug tests for marijuana, they can continue and reserve the right to fire an employee who fails that test or shows up "stoned".
2. All government employees are still test for marijuana and can lose their job for failing that test.
3. Anyone receiving any form of government aid cannot consume marijuana and will be subjected to random drug screens.*** (Assuming they start doing random drug screens on welfare recipients)
4. Anyone arrested for possession or distribution of marijuana before it's legalized has to serve the remainder of their sentence.
Have it regulated by the ATF and taxed at a fair %. So the states can also profit on the tax, but not so high that Johnny drug dealer off McKinley St. becomes the best option to buy from. Set a possession amount and anything over that will be deemed "product for sale". So people will have to file and obtain a grower's license to posses over the set amount (plants included). If no license and over the amount, then there will be a $$ penalty for not paying the tax on that amount and for not having a license.
Boom. Problem solved. Let's go blaze.

Wait, you'd want to punish people who used a legal product on their own time? You realize it can still be detected in your system LONG after the effects have worn off, right?
