Been that way for a while. LSU seems to struggle towards the end of the season.

Agreed. I have been wondering has he become complacent or lost the ear of the players because I don't see it anymore. We have been getting pushed around by other teams in the West for sure especially in the 3 losses last season.

Bama and Arkansas have been throwing us around like rag dolls lately. Sick of it.

Something is not happening in that weight room that used to happen. That's apparent.

I've been saying this for the last three years.

i'm curious as to how you know this for a fact.

also, it's not all on the "teacher"; the student has to learn also. maybe he didn't put enough time in the weight room. I am not saying this is fact but I haven't heard anything bad about Moffit.

He read his own press clippings. A number of other competing programs have improved while we have not.

I've been noticing for the last few years our big O and D linemen don't do well on the bench press. Moffit is always on the radio say benchpress doesn't matter but we're steadily get pushed around

This has been discussed a lot. But in Moffit's defense, we don't know what the coaches have asked him to do. I would imagine Chavis requested he keep the defense lean and fast as opposed to bulky, etc.

This is not true. Moffit is getting blamed for poor recruiting. Our dline was severely pushed around two years ago, and was occassionally pushed around last year. This was due to a lack of depth and youthful starters - not a crappy s&c program.

Our oline was strong last year. They ran into trouble against some really good defenses, but you have to consider that they had crappy blockers at tight end and fullback, and the lack of a passing game allowed teams to outnumber us at the line. Hawkins simply does not have the lower body to develop the kind of strength needed at that position.

Look at what monsters LSU turned out in Debo and Kwon - two skinny kids when they started.

SloFlo (and others) have bashed Moffitt for years.
