Maybe Boston?

No thanks. Im sure Ainge is smarter than that.

Boston could sign him to a max contract this summer if they would want to go that way. I don't think I'd want to max out a 30 year old center with back problems though.

The fanbase would drag Danny Ainge through the streets of south boston if he gave Howard a max deal

In the playoffs, they would see that Dwight. He clearly isn't healthy enough to really bang around every night. But he has been able to do it in the playoffs for us.

But Boston doesn't need a 30-year old center long-term. And plus, I doubt he'd sign long-term in Boston. So they'd be giving up a lot of assets to probably just make the Eastern Conference Finals.

He's a Pelicans fan and he's gonna try to trash another GM/Franchise. I take it you never hear the saying about if you in glass houses don't throw rocks. Don't come in here talking shite about Clutch City when your team is the Pelicans.

You're now a caricature of your caricature.

I called the Rockets blowing it up from a mile away....what a joke of a Franchise.

Their General Manager is a statistics geek, doesn't know a lick about basketball.

Another low IQ Pellies fan.

No one "in the championship hunt" is acquiring Dwight Howard.

You can dismiss it as much as you want but Houston cultivated a culture that is going to be a deterrent to winning big.

I just want to know once and for all how being consistently above .500 and winning two titles in the mid-90s is going to help you now. I mean the Lakers are the GOAT and they're hot shite now. Houston was a better franchise than GSW for 20 years. The Bulls weren't shite before Jordan. The Jazz had a similar track record of consistently making the playoffs.

Why does it matter? How exactly can you hang your hat on that specifically?

No, they work hard. The problem is that nobody is on the same page.

They look lost. Dwight is getting older and he's always got injuries. He needs to be traded.

Corey Brewer has looked horrible. He should probably be traded too.

Terrence Jones has sucked.

Lawson has been a non-factor.

They just look like they aren't on the same page, which may look like they aren't giving effort. They do try, they just aren't clicking... hence Jason Terry's comment about no chemistry.

It doesn't help now but when you have scrub franchise fanbases trying to act like they're on your level...well it's pretty easy to send them back where they came from when you post about the titles and winning seasons.

This thread isn't about the Pelicans. I didn't realize we were doing middle school debate in here.

He's the NBA equivalent of the guy at the gym that doesn't run the floor on defense so he can cherry pick

There is zero chance in hell they trade Harden. Everything else is probably on the table.
