Villages can be rough as frick, they can give New Orleans a run for their money with crime.

The cool thing about being a NOLA resident for a period of time is it prepares you for most anything.

And no, it isn't but I'll say I had a couple interesting situations last October with drunks at 7 am.

I never felt like I had to watch my back like I do in NOLA. Eta...my post is not about the villages. I have zero experience there.

It's not.

Though the most diverse neighborhood in the USA is in Anchorage, Mountain Side. Mountain Side is also the high crime area in Anchorage.
