You predicted the panthers to score 40+ against the best defense in the league. Also a cam dick rider.

and I'll openly admit that I was wrong.

But the previous poster said he didn't like Cam Newton because he got paid to play CFB and because his shoes were too flashy. That's some pretty asinine logic

This is just his coping mechanism. "Too cool to really even give a frick. Caring about something is pathetic"

LoL @ you for not getting what is wrong with the shoes he chose to wear.

He was speaking about a game he attended two years ago.

Now if we're talking about the shoes that Newton wore today. Then yea, that wasn't the brightest move on his part.

No. Plenty of athletes wear flashy shoes and that's cool but his went above that. He had his stats and MVP on them. It just goes to show what people say in that Cam is only about Cam. Not lifting his team up and putting the game first. He could use some humility but he's a primadonna. Always has been and always will be.

Just as people take college ball this seriously. I think in this case it's about the person...not so much about the game. He's brought this upon himself because of his antics and ego he's put out there. Denver's defense was not going to be embarrassed and that's what I took away from this game. To some he's shown his arse. You can enjoy the game and play it without trying to show up the other team. Win the game soundly and be respectful of your opponent - he's gotten all the attention this season and they just got their asses beat on the biggest stage and he can't handle it. Just because you handed some balls to kids doesn't make you the greatest player who ever lived.

That's why hitters get beaned in baseball - when they show up the pitcher and the other team...there's retaliation.

Oh well that's dumb. OBJ wears some wicked cleats during warm ups and I have no issues with it. People just have a stick up their arse if they take issue to this.

I'm bashing Cam for quitting and refusing to recover his own fumble. That was a punk move.

HOWEVER, I will say that the play in this gif warranted a penalty on the Defense for late hit on Cam. Cam was right to disagree with that non-call.

Those were released after he retired the first time

So basically they were made to honor him after everyone thought he quit for good even though he did wear them later when he came back but the stats were on the sole and not nearly as flashy as Cam's gold look at me cleats with his stats on the side and MVP on the top. Huge difference.

It's super bowl Sunday and cam had a terrible game and acted like a child. You gotta expect this kind of night on here.

It was basically an avalanche of everything that could go wrong for him

The shoes is example just shows how classless Cam is. Your stupid as than comments his shoes he wore today were a result of his bad decision. Newsflash he does that every game

That was a clean hit which makes his tantrum that much more hysterical.
