I feel bad but I have basically quit going to the meets now. I am so proud of LSU gymnastics and how far they have come but with every home meet airing Live on SEC Network (or SEC Network +) there is no reason to attend. I know that makes me a bad fan but I get a much better view at home with replays and slow-mo. I will attend at least one meet this season but not this one. I can't wait until we host a Regional again. That is always the best.

This team is rounding into shape. Finnegan in the AA is huge. Hopefully we get Savona back on floor soon. Hopefully Priessman has the 1 1/2 on vault by post-season. No idea if floor is a possibility this year but that's a strong event for her. I'd rather they save her than risk a season ending or career ending injury, though.

Oh, and they need to take Gnat off of bars. I know Breaux wants to let her do AA because she can win some titles but she holds our bar score down. She isnt going to break 9.8 by very much and we have been leaving Wyrick out of the lineup when she is a potential 9.9 score. Finnegan, Priessman, Wyrick and Zamardi give you 4 possible 9.9 scores on bars. We NEED that in post-season when teams like Florida and Oklahoma always outscore us on bars by 3 tenths. In addition, Gnat competes last on vault and first on bars. It is a problem at home, she was clearly way too pumped 2 weeks ago after the 10 on vault. Her entire issue on bars is she rushes and she rushed big time the last 2 weeks and made big mistakes. If they have to leave her in the lineup then move her back a spot or two.
