I never caught shite, but one of my ex's stepdads caught like a 7lb smallmouth in the 80s IIRC. He had it mounted at his house, but that was 10 years ago when we dated, so I'm not sure on the weight

In the LSU lakes? Pretty sure that's not possible unless someone caught a smallmouth somewhere else and released it into the lakes.
