Looks like Chris Landry is saying Kirk Ferentz to Michigan.

That is what the Iowa Rivals boards are saying anyway. Oh well I guess we are going to be stuck with Miles.

Makes sense considering Mary Sue Coleman's history with Ferentz and Carr laying down the landmines to keep Les out of Ann Arbor.

he might end up there but wow, that would be an absolutely horrible hire.
I would think they would want to talk to some others.

someone else posted something similar. Ferentz is a good coach, but on paper, he doesn't come close to Les. Esp when you consider the weakness of the Big10 and the strengh of the SEC. Someone told me that Ferentz had ties to someone in the AD at UM. something about the same guy that hired Ferentz at Iowa now works for UM. Don't know the specifics.

I agree. Iowa has done nothing since they lucked out and beat LSU in 2004.

I love how a week ago, people were marching in thew streets to keep Les Miles, and today and they want to send him out on a rail.

I dont have an opinon one way or another but just saying Ferentz is not a good coach.

Not a guy and not the AD. The president, Mary Sue Coleman.

Sure the heck wasn't me marching. I thought that was stupid.

I hope we get to keep Miles. Pellini is the one that needs to go.

Did not march. Thought the march was inappropriate. I wanted him to take the UM gig before the march and my feelings have not changed.

Ferentz is worse than Miles.

This would be amazing, I thought Ferentz was gonna be gone soon with the season's they've had, lately. He had to be pissed about turning down LSU until this came along.

This has got to be the craziest thing I ever heard. Mich is completely nutz if they do this.....I dont think UM is that stupid.

With their strong football tradition, why would UM settle for such a mediocre coach like Ferentz? It seems like they're in too big of a hurry to find someone. They would be better off considering other candidates. As someone else pointed out, Ferentz has done little since Iowa's upset win over the Tigers!

And on said megasite he also admitted he started the thread just to get people at both schools stirred up.
