Been watching it since II. The clip of Namath wagging the #1 at the end of III never gets old.
Oh, and KC did some serious clothes-lining back in the day as did OAK.

The entire broadcast of Superbowl III (Colts v. Jets) exists and I have it on tape. I wish I had it on DVD.

Check out the younger man who is shooting him the finger the entire way.
All of this stuff is on YouTube, including the entire broadcast (with commercials) of many, including Super Bowl III

I always loved the '76 Raiders one...because Facenda with the Autumn Wind...and the Raiders had been the winningest team but could never win the big one...
And NFL films went all out in celebrating their first glory...and it it was poetic, Old Man Willie, unlike "America's Game" episodes.
NFL films was something else. Made the NFL poetry and each episode has suspense even if the game wasn't close...they tricked the audience.

John Facenda makes soccer awesome...
LINK
Too bad soccer doesn't have a history of highlights of the world cup like the same quality and poetry and story-telling of NFL films of the Super Bowls.
I'd love to watch that.

The voice of God. Still haven't heard anyone do NFL highlights better, even after all these years.

What is sad is many of his videos are diappearing from Youtube. It's almost as if the NFL wants to forget him.

John Elway and the 97/98 Denver Broncos are about to take Green Bay and Atlanta to the woodshed.

I contend the Sabols are the the most influential and important people in the history of the NFL. They made football epic and graceful. No other league on earth has documented their sport like NFL films did and essentially shaped the way we view football for the last 50 years. It's incredible.
