Would also add that they need a better big than Anderson next to Davis. That's not in question.
The problem is how to get that big. Anderson has flaws, but he's also pretty good too. The Pels have no young bigs they're developing, no wings that could play up, and their chances in FA are dicey, at best.
ETA: If we look at the stats from 11/20, Anderson has played the 2nd most minutes on the team, is shooting 42% from 3, and has a net +4 (same as Holiday and a DRating lower than Asik, despite playing 400 more total minutes). If we're in a thread discussing and praising the uptick in play from the team, seems sort of strange to dump on a key piece in that rise.

That has been my observation. I really do understand the guy's limitations and don't want to over-pay him. But some posters are kind of fanatical about getting rid of Anderson. He's a great piece to have if the money works out and you have other help at the 4/5. Although I see value in both, I think having both Ajinca and Asik at their salaries on the roster create a problem.
