I heard on the radio yesterday some clubs may push for "permanent" status in the Champions League during the next round of negotiations, the first step towards a super league.

I have mixed feelings on this, on the one hand it's exciting to thing about regular fixtures between top clubs, but in the other hand the single table format works because you have things to shoot for outside of just the league title. If top 4 doesn't mean anything, then interest in a lot of matches will take a big hit.

Will this happen in the next 10 years or so? Will it be a good or a bad thing?

Hope that it doesn't happen. Relegation and promotion and end of year standings need to mean something.
