About half of my sister's class at STM went to prestigious schools. The other half went to LSU or decent state schools. Only one of them went into the military IIRC. The rest all went to college.

Problem most of them are having now is that they grew up hanging out with the same 50 people from 1st through 12th grade (little sister was K-12 with 15 of the same people), and a lot have gotten overwhelmed and want to move closer to home.

I went to Country Day for a little while, and the kids weren't that smart IMHO. I was more advanced coming from Kehoe, even though I wasted 1.5 years in JP public schools

Weird kids, but I had some in my sophomore level math and physics classes. Exceptional intelligence

When did you go? There were a ton of smart kids when I went, kids getting scholarships to UVA, going to Yale etc. The lower and middle schools weren't too much to write home about from my observations, but high school really picked it up a notch. Most of the smartest kids I can recall came in just for high school. Even most the kids that weren't that bright at the time are doing really well for themselves.
