I just talked to Coach Brewerton very recently, he stated that while he will not push Scott or any player to attend LSU, he admitted that he's hoping that LSU develops a pipeline to Zachary for his players, and that he's hoping to heal some of the bad blood of the past. Zachary finally has the coach that will grow a powerful football program like Catholic and it has high academic standards. Coach Brewerton loves LSU and he loves his players, regardless of what happens with Scott, he's hoping LSU will continue to offer his players. That is exciting news, for Zachary and LSU.

This is the first time that Catholic has been called a pipeline to LSU.

It happened when Zachary's Zack Von Rosenberg, a highly sought after baseball recruit, was heading to LSU but at the last minute chose instead to sign a rich baseball contract. Funny thing is, after being released by his pro baseball team, Zack decided to walk on for the LSU football program, he always wanted to play for LSU, he was also an all state punter in high school. Life like baseball, sometimes sends you a curve ball.

Can't imagine anyone from LSU's football program ever gave a shite about that.

That's great that he wants to develop a pipeline.

As for the bad blood, I'm thinking it's because a few parents thought their kids were LSU caliber but never got offered.

Does Zachary produce LSU level talent fairly regularly? That's a real question by the way not trying to be a troll. You can be a great high school program without producing a lot of FBS level talent and you can be a bad program and produce big time talent consistently.
