REB Jr says he just heard a turkey gobble over by his stand. Seems a little early in the year.

What do the turkey hunters think? He said he heard some hens clucking too.

Not unusual. I've heard random gobbles during deer season and sitting on the porch in July. But they obviously gobble more, and for different reasons, in the Spring.

ETA: My seat was wet so now I'm cold even with all these clothes.

Had 19 Jake's fly down yesterday morning at around 8. They were clucking and making that scratching call sound (sorry I'm no turkey expert).
