Tomorrow's game @ Bama is more important than the aTm game......

Games like these that you NEED to win are the ones where JJ needs to get to work and do some coaching.
aTm is a legit top 10 team and we played on their home court, its understandable to drop one there in an 18 game regular season
But come saturday we need to be ready to play; if we show up, don't play sloppy and look focused we'll win hands down, Bama doesn't match up with us on athletic level by any means.
I really hope JJ has the guys focused and ready, a loss there does wayy more damage than a loss to aTm.

Only because we lost to aTm. This game does not hold nearly as much weight if we would have beat aTm.

I agree. We have struggled on the road. We really need to win another SEC road game, and Bama is an average team.

We have not won at Coleman Collisium since 2004 which is pretty unbelievable when you think about some of the good teams we have had over that time period and some of the bad teams they have had over that time. Bottom line it's a tough place and tough environment to play and so I fully expect a knock down drag out and hope we can somehow pull things out in the end and stop the 12 year drought at Coleman.

They are all important now with 7 losses. I do agree the Bama game is a must win simply because LSU is not expected to lose to them. This would be a bad quality loss in looking at RPI at end of the season.

I'm not sure I completely agree. Bama has a top 50 RPI and will be fighting for the tourney as a bubble team. If we win, it will not only help us out RPI wise, but it will also help open up a spot
A&M would have been a signature win though and gave us a bigger RPI boost. We need to beat these average teams and take 2 games against OU, @UK, @USCw, and A&M

there's only 13 games left and lsu only has 11 wins. with a poor s.o.s. according to espn, lsu needs a sterling record from here on out. i'm not sure 20 wins will cut it given the s.o.s. and rpi.

Who said anything about cruising?
We do need a sense of urgency, but at the same time, it's only must win if we have to undefeated from here on out in conference (which we don't). There is a margin of error here.
