I went with the heavy duty Kong Toy (the black one). The pup hasn't dropped it since I have it to him. 
Now, we'll just have to see how long it lasts. Honestly, I can't believe it's lasted this long.

I have a GSP and a Brittany and these toys have lasted for fricking ever.
These are made by the same company as the last one (west paw design). But we break up milk bones and stick them in the cavity. They fricking love it.
