Trying to get into airplanes and then boats/ trains, and cars. Looking for the cheapest decent kit.

Tons can be found on Amazon... since you are just starting I would recommend pre assembled kits

If you've never flown, buy the "Sturdy bird" by duraplane I believe
You can crash it over and over, buy nothing nice until you master it

Lots of people go nuts with those Traxxus cars, spend tons of money on mods for them. I'd get something you can upgrade and play around with because if not just driving it around in a circle will get boring quick.

I used to build RC boats with my dad. Are you looking for something you can build or buy out of the box?

WOW! My dad bought me that exact car when I was maybe 6-7. Talk about memory lane.

I have a nitro Miss Budweiser 1/8 scale boat. Its pretty fun once or twice a year but they are a pain in the arse unless you have a pond at your house

Yup,
I restore old Tamiya vintage cars from the 1980's. Also fly electric park flyers to include planes, helis and quadcopters.
Sorry for the fuzzy pic. None of what you see here is a re-release. What is not shown is my restored 1977 Tamiya Martini Porsche 935 Turbo.
Frog
Grasshopper
Hornet
Fox
Falcon
Grasshopper II Super G (shelf queen)
Grasshopper II Super G (runner)
Grasshopper II stock
Wild Willy 2
Midnight Pumpkin

Are you in Baton Rouge? There used to be an R/C airfield off Burbank by Highland Rd. Hobby Towne in Baton Rouge has some people that hang around there that are pretty knowledgeable.
