It's not "hating" to point out his weaknesses or to say he's not the next LeBron.


Hate may not be the right word, but there is definitely a large portion of our fanbase that roots against Ben Simmons, Johnny Jones and the basketball program as a whole.

I have a friend who is from another part of the state of Louisiana who went to another in-state college that recently got a job in Baton Rouge. He said that he is absolutely appalled at how many of the guys that he works with that are happy the every time the day after LSU Basketball loses. And these guys are supposedly LSU "fans." My friend is completely impartial and that was his opinion and I agree with him because I see it on this board every day about the basketball program.

Why would anybody calling themselves an LSU fan be rooting against the team? Something doesn't sound right with this story.
