Spoke with a Beckwith Family Member today

He said that the players want to win the Ship next year, and that's why they're all returning. he said that Kendall told them a while back that he was staying and he is excited for next year with the new DC. He played a lot of DE in High School and was excited with his role during the Bowl Game. Apparently he is a very smart kid and really wants to graduate by the time he leaves college. Geaux Tigers!

I brought up the idea of him being used next year as an end on passing downs and possibly entering the draft as having spent time as a 34 Mike, 43 Mike and have 8-9 sacks as a senior, I actually think he could work his way into possibly being seen by scouts as a 34 outside backer also, he will have great value going into the draft next year

Maybe, but everyone especially the coaching staff knows this is positive for the program.
You would think that if Kendall didn't think it was that big of deal, then the coaching staff would announce to assist with signings.

I was with someone in the program on weekend before last and they didn't know what he was doing.
He knew it was important to keep him. That's why I would expect an announcement.
