I managed about the same number of birds as last year. Lots of divers, lots. We had the same number of grey ducks but they were very cautious for some reason and stayed out of range for the most part. This past weekend was fantastic. Young birds and bigger flights were the more noticeable characteristics to round it out. wish we had another week.

For us it was a story of two splits. The first split was just off the charts, he steadily hunted a lagoon with easily 15K gray ducks in it and they were there the whole split. Average hunt was 24 birds in about an hour and a half.
Second split from open to close we had to work for the birds. We had many hunts without limits and this past weekend we limited on cans and left when we did because there wasn't much else out there.
That being said I would be back this weekend if it was still open.
