opening two weeks at the wax were fantastic, quality ducks in good numbers. last month has been pathetic...this weekend we made four hunts, killed two ducks that i would generally admit to killing, the rest were "neighbor ducks"
there were ZERO flocks moving around, these were just odd pairs and stragglers. there are no ducks to speak of at the wax right now and there hasn't been for a while

My son who now hunts way way more than me took roughly the same number of ducks as last year -
just swapping mallards and greys for less desireable species. coastal and east..
raining october spread ducks out bigtime.
