I would have been so pissed if we lost our best player going into my senior year of high school. I get it why these players do it but come on man, this is your high school years to just up and walk away from all your friends and teammates. Guess times are just totally different now then how they use to be.

Yes they are different and it's not getting better. Ruining high school athletics all over the place. Only way to combat it is to push back. If you're Southern Lab simply don't go play them. It's your senior LB they may steal next.

Nobody plays them and they have 10 bye weeks. I don't see why high school ADs don't see that. Do you think U High would play them? No way. You just stole my best athlete.

Honestly, while I'm in awe of the entire spectacle that IMG is (check out some videos on this school), I still don't see why so many kids ultimately jump to the academy. Then again, we don't know how many guys they offer and that the kids turn down. This could just be the select few they can get within the pool of guys they want.

I agree. It's odd for an 17-18 year old to walk away from his senior year of high school, away from his parents, friends, and team, so that he can...what? Get a better chance at recruiting or coaching for a year? Dylan Moses is both well coached and well recruited. It's very curious.
