I have no problem shooting a dog if it continues to ruin my hunt, but would never post it on FB. The comments are sad.

Exactly. Those had me rolling. Most people on FB are the worst.

Edit: I didn't even notice the Black Hunting and Fishing page.

Majority of the comments are from females.

What if it's someones pet that got loose? I don't get it.
I don't understand why you would shoot someones dog, but then again some things are more important to me than deer hunting.

It's been covered

I would only consider shooting a repeat offender with no collar.

Not sure why you would expect anyone to dig through your post history to try and understand your position on shooting someones pet.

So your stance is you would shoot a dog only if it was someone's pet? But ok to shoot if it's not?

You're insufferable.

That's weak man. At least make a case for yourself.

Obviously, you've never had a dog run a herd of fresh cattle through a fence. I have plugged a few on my farm, collar and no collar.

I never made a reference to anything other than the shooting of pets simply because they may, or may not have, ruined your precious hunt. No collar does not necessarily mean not a pet.

We obviously have a different set of priorities, this conversation will go nowhere.

I'd also shoot a house cat if I had to. Not sure if that changes your outlook on me.

My dog hardly ever wears a collar. If some douche deer hunter shot him, I would murder him.

No. Weak is linking a locked thread from five years ago in lieu of answering a very simple question. Funny thing is if you had answered the question, I would have likely agreed with you. Not that my approval of your stance carries any weight.

Just incase you need a link to the question.

I didn't say I was hunting. But dogs can get a herd of steers running and they won't stop at a fence. Then you've got cattle scattered all over the country. The dogs may be playing, but they'll sure scare a herd. I've trained my dogs, but I told all my neighbors, if they see my dogs running cattle, drop 'em

Nah, I've had to kill one that kept getting in my chicken coup. Thank god for Gemtech.
