Drop the TDs favorite band part...you're just asking for negativity and arguing.

Bringing it back to Walnut Creek (w/Isbell). Some of my best memories of seeing the band were at Walnut Creek. Outside of UNO and Oak Mountain, Walnut Creek was the ultimate party. Everyone I knew in the Southeast who saw shows would circle this one on their calendar with f'n bells on.

Honestly, Walnut Creek is a big hassle. Hotels arent close and it is hard getting in and out.

With that said, it was a huge party. Everyone from the SouthEast I knew would head to Raleigh in April for the weekend. We would see people from various colleges we only get to see once a year. It was a large venue too, so everyone got in. The parking lot is laid out really cool, with huge dirt lots connected by little trails through the woods. It was also always the largest Shakedown of the year. The lawn inside the venue is sponsored by John Deer so it's pristine.

1999-2002 the place was jam packed, and even the first couple of George years it was shoulder to shoulder on the lawn.

2002 was by far my favorite. Despite Mike's sickness (which really didn't sink in for me until Asheville), the place was all smiles and everyone was enjoying 4/20 (remember when we were all young and celebrated that?). Ride me High>Arleen was the bewbs.

It's too bad the Backyard isn't what it used to be.

The Moody is probably my favorite place to see a show in Austin... Maybe because Panic was the first band I saw there lol. Can't wait

Chicago Theater is a great place to see a show as well. I went up there in 2006 when Sam and Keane took over for George.

Place was rocking

I don't remember it being jam packed in 2000 during the cold monsoon. Lots of people bailed because it was miserable. One of the coldest nights of my life. Temp was probably only in the 50's, but it rained all damn day and all I packed were my stupid Birkenstocks. The Hatfield made it worth it though.

2001 has my favorite Stop-Go, otherwise the show is pretty forgettable. One of the worst 1st sets I've seen them play, but they had just signed with a new label and they were playing for them. The Disco>Blight was nice I guess.

Man, forgot how dope this 2000 Raleigh Hatfield was. JB killed the rap.

2 nights in Jackson and supposedly Wanee for my cousin's bachelor party. Gotta miss Mobile because of court. In a perfect world Austin would be doable as well, but doubtful.
