This thread is depressing.
LSU does not have the National Championship as a priority for the football team.
If recent events have not exposed this than i don't know what will.
F King and Alleva have to be replaced with a president and an AD who have the common goal and make National Championships the priority.
If that happens Miles will have to step up or exits stage left. It does no good to replace the coach when the administration is not fixed.
Unless or until that happens LSU will not win another National championship.
Its also likely the reason LSU had not won between 58 and 03. (Not having all involved with the common goal of championships)

How many times did I reiterate year in and year out? Do you know what this means? 2 years of wins does not erase five losses in a row before that by 25, 19, 45, 13, and 19.
We have not been their biggest threat the last two years, but we ARE their biggest threat year in and year out. Followed by Auburn.

Did you watch the 2nd half?
All of it. I think he went 5 for 12 with a TD and and INT if I am not mistaken.

Ohio state, Florida St, Clemson, and now Michigan are bigger than LSU so Saban doesn't really sweat us anymore

To beat the Clemsons, Ole Misses, Tenn, and Aggie of the world he had to adapt his offense.

Am I the only one who was horrified by some of the throws by Harris in the bowl game?
I thought he was bad but not as bad as the four previous games. There was a stretch where he couldn't hit a bullet with a barn door.

Lots of Saban and Bama love in this thread. Far less Miles and LSU love. Shocking, right?

Sabin, and Alabama are nowhere near an unbeatable team. People give that guy too much credit for being some sort of legendary coach or something.
Its not like he is some kind of football mastermind like Bill Walsh was, coming up with totally new innovative concepts well beyond their time.
To start with just need to get the depth on the offensive, and Defensive lines, and linebackers. We also need our QB to learn to read defensive quickly and efficiently.
It appears with our recruiting this year, the Defensive line is being handled, and we continue to get blue chip offensive line recruits as well.
Harris can be a really good QB, but they really need to teach him how to read defenses, and throw to the open man this offseason. Alabama is not the unbeatable juggernaut they think they are. They aren't the New England Patriots with Tom Brady at QB or something.

Jesus Christ, he changed his ENTIRE offensive philosophy to keep up with Aggie after losing their, he has left Kiffin completely in charge to face Clemson and Ole Miss lately. He has made changes in how he builds his team to defeat teams that specifically do the OPPOSITE of LSU.
This is true. Saban defenses are almost invincible against offenses like LSUs. His Achilles heel is still mobile QBs and HUNH offenses. Chavis' defenses were pretty good against the offenses Saban struggles against I always thought.

2007-2011 this might have been true, but Les and the staff got lazy in the past couple of years. Saban can now play LSU straight up and close To the vest and win 9/10 times.
The only thing that's changed is the LSU defense hasn't been as stout. Aside from 2007, Les offenses have always struggled against Saban. Even the vaunted 2013 offense with NFL talent everywhere. That hasn't changed. When LSU has a solid defense, the games are low scoring and close. When LSU has a defensive down year, well ...

We have lost give in a row and 7 of last 10. We are getting murdered by Bsma

It's all relative. Auburn has lost 6 of last 8. Ole Miss has lost 2 of last 12. And most of those losses are blowouts.
Yes, we are getting murdered by Bama. 5 in a row sucks. 7 of 10 sucks. But the fact that they are competitive games for the most part means we are still their biggest threat year in and year out.. since no one else is doing shite against them either.

You're the third poster to refute this and offer no counter arguments. Name another sec west team that poses a bigger threat to them year in and year out. You can't.
Saban knows that by the time he plays LSU the winner of that game more times than not has control of the west.

You do realize that what he is doing today with a level playing field, limited scholarships and in a day and age where EVERY TEAM is on TV that what he has done, nobody comes close to it? Not even Bear?
Do you understand why Bama has won 4 National titles in a 7 year span? Do you honestly believe that any coach can walk on the Bama sidelines and duplicate what Saban has since going there? If you do then I have a long list of coaches that have failed while at Alabama.
