At least we're getting in shouting distance. It's a start.

Yea. That is actually a great spot considering the AQ's in the total field. Keep winning boys

Well at least Lunardi still has a glimmer of hope for this team

Seasons not even halfway through yet. We're coming together people, and we will make the tourney and win a game. Sweet 16 or bust.........
Who's coming with me??????

This is better than I thought. Big week coming up

This is going to really piss off the poster that argued so vehemently that LSU had already blown its shot at the tournament.
LSU is by no means a lock and bracketology in January is meaningless, but there is still opportunity for LSU. As much as it sucked to watch them lose to a team that played almost as bad as they did on Saturday, if LSU HAD to lose a game in the first 5 games of SEC play, that was probably the one they could afford to lose. Take care of business this week at home against Ole Miss and Ark. Then you have a HUGE opportunity at A&M

Were are extremely close. 15 reg. season games are played already with 16 to go.

We can't lose more than 5 conference games. If we do that plus beat Oklahoma, we'll be in.

I think the only people who don't have hope are the LSU fans who think every loss is the end of the world and that the RPI rankings before mid-February actually mean something.

I still think the sec can get 5/6 teams in. Lsu ole Miss bama and Vandy all have a chance imo.

Alt agree 100%. When the schedule came out not knowing we would start slow 1-2 was acceptable and 2-1 was a huge victory in those first 3 SEC games. Well we HAD TO GO 2-1 because of the hole we dug. Also we were only down 1 with under a minute to play with the ball at Florida. If somehow we could go 3-0 the next 3 wonder what these posters would say then?? I'm still predicting a sweet 16 and seems like some are not with me (see the turtle poster and his pals above). When you break it down, the 2 losses we had at full strength were Wake and UF on the road. We need to keep playing D and desperately need some of our shots to start falling.
If just a few of those 3s fall in Gainsville who knows

This team is like a roller coaster. Up and down.

I think the realistic people see it as it is. We are 1-5 away from home and still have 7 away games left to be played, even before the SECT. This team will have to be damn near perfect at home and do what they havent been able to do all season and go about .500 on the road to close out the season to have a remote possibility.

How like a roller coaster? Because we played a team that plays the best D in the conference on the road in a hostile environment and we couldn't get any shots to fall??
Did we get blown out??
Did we get blown out??

4 of those away games Ls were without Victor and 3 were without Hornsby.
