The refs called this game very close because it was divisional rivals. With that being said, the nfl picks and chooses when it wants to cate about "safety". If this was some no name wide receiver a flag wouldn't have been thrown. Brown is a completely different story.

That flag gets thrown 7 days a week and twice on sundays. It was clear brown didn't have the ball and he hit him directly in the helmet.

That is such BS! That type of hit is why the have the rule. They would have called it if you or I were out there.

The one they called on the Steelers early on was questionable, and they maybe should've thrown on one Shazier. But Burficts is why the rule was made. The ball is clearly incomplete, Burfict isn't trying even 1% to make a defensive play on the ball. He's trying to hurt Antonio Brown; it's not poor form on a tackle. He deliberately lowered his shoulder right where he knew Browns head would be.

You can argue that's football, and defenders should be able to punish receivers coming over the middle. That's fine. But there's no doubt the intent of the rule is to stop these straight up "I own the middle of the field. Don't come in my house if you wanna live," type of hits
