both were absolutely incredible over a 3 year stretch. I know who both 1 and 2 are so I won't say but #1 had 2000 yards rushing in a season, a regular season MVP, and a Superbowl MVP which are three prestigious things that #2 doesn't have while #2 is one of only 2 running backs to go over 2000 scrimmage yards in 3 straight seasons which is damn impressive in itself.

While I completely get your point and what not, you should also note that Davis put those #s up over a 7 year, 78game career. Holmes had a 10year, 113game career.

Terrell Davis is 3rd all time in rushing yards per game for a career with 97.5ypg, behind Barry Sanders and Jim Brown. That's it. And ahead of Eric Dickerson, Walter Payton, OJ Simpson, Earl Campbell, Emmitt Smith, AP, etc.

He played in 8 playoff games, rushing over 100yards in 7 of the 8. And that ties him with Emmitt Smith for most 100yard games in playoffs. And he had a 5.6ypc in the playoffs, the highest ypc in the playoffs in the history of the NFL.

A great RB and was even better when it mattered the most, in the playoffs.
