Rutgers and Maryland are major State universities. There's really no looking back badly on this.

I'm thinking it didn't really align from a "fit" standpoint. Largely saying that because of geography, tradition, and all the other stuff that fans care about but which the people trying to make the money do not.

the BIG is currently loaning Maryland future TV money to stay afloat - how is that a positive situation?
the only way this was ever a positive is because of the "tv cable dollars" but since that will no longer be there...youre stuck with Rutgers ...and Maryland.
