Just went and watched one of those sex scenes, damn that guy in the glasses tore Keri Russel up from behind. Straight long d*** style.

I mean, it's also kind of awkward if you're watching a show and the next scene cuts on and it's just some woman getting drilled from behind for 20 seconds.
And it's also annoying when it happens like 3 or 4 times in one show.
I know! I hate it too! What show is this and what episode? Also how many minutes into the episode are all the sex scenes? Just so I can avoid ever watching it...

It's also interesting that in the US it is far more acceptable to show blood and guts on prime time TV than hearing cuss words and showing people make love.
The show "Hannibal" blurred the naughty parts of the female form in a Botticelli masterpiece. This whole damn country is upside down.

I love seeing tits, as long as I'm not watching with my mom. I'm 35 and it's still uncomfortable.

frankly, I find the amount of unnecessary sex scenes equal to the amount of unnecessary gratuitous violence on most shows. As with sex scenes, if the act(s) are central to the theme, and tastefully done, then I'm ok with it. But most of the time it's only there for shock value. Likewise, they continue to push the envelope with violence. The violence is more disturbing to me than the sex.but overuse of either is annoying and can ruin a show IMO

For the record, it is pretend sex, unless it is 3X.

well it's kind of a central conflict in the Americans so it's somewhat necessary
the whole layer surrounding their relationship requires that kind of conflict, b/c the whole larger issue of "do we like each other, let alone love each other" running central to the show is in direct conflict with how little they value sex (which is often an emotional expression of love in a relationship)
*vague spoiler alert*
that's why when they have "make up sex" at one point (can't even remember the marital conflict) they 69 each other (it's a sign of true intimacy b/c sex has been so degraded due to their jobs that intercourse is emotionally grey).
This, sex is a huge constant throughout Americans. They both use it to seduce others, and it's also used as a means to show the constant tension and doubt about what their relationship actually is.

LOVE wasn't 3x and it was NOT pretend

My imagination is ten times more graphic than anything they can show.

It's really annoying. Like in True Detective season 1 where Alexandra Daddario takes...

You should check out Six Feet Under. Nothing but hot lesbo action in that series.

What I hate is movies that are interesting and a great watch and would be cool to watch with my kids except for some pointless sex or nudity. Wish it was easier to get edited versions.
