I wonder if phase 10 is a dimwit's game
I should probably stop feeling so smug and smart for winning

Better than Phase 10.
No way. Not even close.
I've played Phase 10 and enjoyed it. Phase 10 requires a bit of skill in predicting your number of tricks, and then some skill in playing your cards just right to get that exact number of tricks, no more, no less, in order to score the bonuses. UNO is barely a game at all... it's an activity... a very random activity with minimal, and I mean MINIMAL, strategy. UNO is for dimwits.

Idk what those games are you play
Coloretto is an excellent color set collection game that rewards your three best suits but then punishes you for anything above three sets. There's competition for the color cards and a big screwage element. It's good for 3-5 players but really shines as a three player game.
6 Nimmt is a bit more random... where if you're the sixth card in a row of ascending numbers you are punished by taking the entire row. It's really fun with four players.

Played UNO with my 5 yo and 3 yo all Christmas break. Fun family game that they can follow and still have fun.
REX why don't you take a long walk on a short pier?

I came here to upvote you, Rex, and say scrabble and monopoly are much better family games.

That's the proper age for the game. Even Candyland is fun when you can share it with your children.

Absolutely. And they're good teaching tools. There is almost NOTHING to be learned from UNO at any age.

I suppose you don't like rummy either

You strike me as the type who loves UNO.
Do I win something?

Friends like you, who needs them?

Yeah, somebody who put on a dog costume head to make a parody video is "pompous".

As it turns out I had Phase 10 confused with another game. It's Rage I was describing. I hate Phase 10... an interminable luckfest.

Just looking at your whole body of work.
Yup, pompous fits.
So, you respond to my posts now? Interesting.
