I think there is a reason he started out at defense and was moved to offense.

I think the answer to your question is no.

NG in Arranda's defense isn't some gigantic guy to just plug up the middle, it's about shooting a gap, so you need quickness.

If it was a traditional 3-4 a guy like Josh Boutte might get plugged in NG.

Ed Alexander is 6'2" 320 lbs and is very athletic. He is your starting NT/NG. With Rashard L. being the LDT and Godcheaux being the RDT. With Christmas rotating behind Big Ed, Logan rotating behind Rashard L. and Lewis Neal backing up Davon Godcheaux. All the other DE's will get converted to OLB/ILB, but some will still rotate in on DL when Aranda wants someone a little faster or he will just move up his Left or/and Right OLB when we see the other teams alignment and then we exploit the weak side and take advantage.

Aranda is going to create a Nightmarish D. that can handle both Uptemo smaller teams and Big boy teams. Its going to be amazing. He didn't "Just" come for the money. He can't wait to get his hands on all this talent. No disrespect to Wisconsin...

bullshite. For a 140% raise he would have come even if we had a roster of 2*'s

FWIW, I've got some friends that played with him at Ponchy and they said he kind of shys away from contact. I just don't think he'll be aggressive enough for defense. But then again you can't teach that kind of size.

In a perfect world that kid Clemson got, Dexter Lawrence would be the GOAT NG. He's 6'5 335lbs. His highlight real is incredible as well.

I have been studying his film for hours today, he may be worth 140%, but I tend to believe this job could land
him @ 400% within 3 yrs.Les is in his 60's and HC
could be his factor. Who knows, but him !!
I think we both agree it's a homerun hire fwiw

so you have two true freshmen starting on the Dline.

NO, not going to happen.

lacoture, herron and gilmore will have PLENTY to say about that.
