The Cycle Rifle in Battlefront the Biggest piece of garbage

So i finally get this card and is it just me or is this thing the most useless piece of shite ever? Anyone here have success with it? Id much prefer the pulse rifle over this.
Does the bowcaster suck as well?? I havent gotten it yet

Not a fan of most of the card based weapons in battlefront.
I'll honestly forget that I have them, that's how ineffective they seem to be in my opinion.

I do work with the homing shot and pulse rifle, but I do get what you mean

The Cycler Rifle was one of the few cards available in the beta/demo. It quickly became very popular/hated because a headshot is instakill and 90 damage everywhere else. It also had seemingly infinite range. It appears that before the final release, the range and maybe even velocity and accuracy were reduced to total uselessness. The only use for it I guess would be to try to medium-range snipe through shields. Nobody uses it, or at least I haven't seen it. I don't think I've ever been killed by it.

of all the complaining about weapons, the biggest OP thing in the game has yet to be voiced:
ATST If you are a rebel, u have no ying to this things yang. and it can rape, especially when some of the spawns put noobs right back into line of fire.
Had the rebels had some sort of weapon to counter, it would be one thing, but you can have 2 of these, raping points on the game.
Way OP, especially since people are playing their hands for pvp, not player vs auto/machinery.

An ATST can be taken down easily with a little bit of team work. If you have a couple of competent A-wings or X-wings in the sky, they can shoot it down pretty quickly if they both focus on it.
There's also the atgar14 (satellite gun thingy) that will take them out in 2 or 3 hits I think. There are some power ups that make life very annoying for AT-ST drivers..Thermal imploders do nice damage, and those vehicle sentries are the worst... Long range and hard to see on some maps.
And if all else fails, ion torpedo from afar, hide and wait for cooldown, rinse and repeat.
That's a player problem. Anyone playing an objective-based match like walker assault or supremacy ought to know how important it is to mitigate turrets and vehicles. I always equipped the ion torpedos for anti-air/AT-ST, and ion shot for turrets.
My experiences in the AT-ST were, on average, about 40% rape sessions and 60% insta-death (maybe got a couple of kills in). Can't even tell you how many times a vehicle sentry was already positioned in line of sight of an AT-ST spawn point, and I'd lose a third of my health before I could find it and destroy it.
