He won't come to LSU. Why would he?? He is in a hot bed of talent and the 4th largest market in the USA. He and the Coogs just dismantled a great FSU team won their conference and went 13-1 for the season. Arrogant of you to think he would sign with LSU.
It's a shame they aren't given a chance to play for STILL the MNCG

He could have that and the state of Louisiana!

First, we could offer far more money. Second, if he won at LSU, he'd be guaranteed a playoff berth. Nothing arrogant about it. At the very least, you make a compelling offer.

Oh, I don't know...
Money. Want to hear something that will make you laugh out loud and sad at the same time? Are you sitting down? LSU paid Kevin Steele $350,000 less than Houston paid Herman this year.
I think everyone else has already addressed the same recruiting base plus Louisiana argument, so I won't dwell on that topic. But consider that in Louisiana, LSU is the school. In Texas, Houston is behind Texas, aTm, Baylor, and Tech. You don't think he (or anyone else) wouldn't trade the AAC (if that, in fact, is a real conference) for SEC contracts, national exposure, elite competition?
