Willing to bet you any amount of money that I won't be back. I mean, you should do it since you know me so well.
And, either way I can't win. If I just leave, people will say I quit because the team is bad and I'm a moody quitter. Heck, some have already said that even though I said I was leaving before the season started, before this all happened.
That is one thing I have undoubtedly learned - someone will always find a way to turn anything negative and conclude something about a person they have never met.
So, for those so confident I will be back because I "love attention" or whatever else you wanna make up. Put your money where your mouth is. I need some free cash!

Or, you know, you could just be a regular person and continue to post on this message board like the rest of us. There's no need to retire from message board posting.

To be fair, you obviously care a whole lot, contrary to this recent, self proclaimed "IDGAF" stance you've taken recently. Probably why people think it will be hard for you to step away from it.
And before you exit stage right, you should know that you have the knowledge and writing skills to be referenced in the same breath as the Lowe's and Elhassan's of the bball writers world. However, you have a very unlikable internet persona (real life could be different as I dont know you personally). Less autocratic and contemptous and maybe more modest and genial. I truly think you could climb the ranks if you so desired. Just know none of the greats truly retire
