I'm all in on Pelini as a D-coordinator and HC in waiting. The guy won at Nebraska and should never have been fired.

That assumes that Def Cord is a promotional step along the way to being a head coach.


I could see Coach O being "assistant head coach, defense" as a title and still coaching the line, with someone else actually "coordinating" the defense.

Not sure that being in charge of offense/defense is necessarily a prerequisite for being a head coach

i celebrated when he left. Even watching his antics on Nebraska's sideline made me cringe. He's an obnoxious blowhard imo.
