IF the rumors about Steele leaving are true, what recruits do we lose? Do we hold our LB recruits?

Idk any recruits that are coming in because of him. Frank, Raymond and O have more recruits connected to them. I'm worried that if we pass on Raymond and O for the job that they will get fed up and leave. No matter who we hire they need both to get a raise

Why would Steele be leaving? HC opportunity? Fired?

FWIW, I haven't heard Steele mentioned much, if it all, by recruits. Peveto is more valuable to recruiting than Steele.

I think this has been in the works for a little time. I wouldn't be surprised to see Coach O promoted to DC.
I wouldn't worry about any recruits with Steele leaving.
I'm actually really happy right now. I was not a fan of his defense prior to getting here either.

Promote O to DC, Peveto to LB coach and Raymond gets a pay raise.
This might be why coach O really stayed.
I know one thing, LSU will never lack in depth on the front 7. You saw how much rotating he did last night placing guys all over the DL, LSU is going to be awesome on defense next year!
