Guys, i guess I just need a little help. Man cave TV is 45' from my cox box. Do I need a booster to run a 45' HDMI cable so I won't lose signal strength? What is the best thing to do, Run of cable is a pain, so I need to get it right.

I had a little trouble at that distance with some devices. Bought a high speed hdmi from monoprice and all is well.

Run Cat6 cable and get Cat6 to HDMI converters.

Much easier to run Cat6 than HDMI. Probably cheaper to.

Should be fine with a 45 ft run. You could always use a HDMI over cat5/6 balun which would cost more but much easier to run.

Buy from these folks. They use quality cables and terminate them with quality components.
