Maybe I'm just ignorant of how grand juries operate, but wouldn't charges have been filed if this case was that open and shut? I'd like to think grand juries tend to err on the side of returning charges and letting court trials play out even if the case is 50/50 at best?

I'm sorry not defending a little shithead pulling a very realistic gun on people in a park and policeman makes me a "lousy" person.
