Cleaning up and old cypress bench that has about 1/4" of polyurethane

Was covered in deep scratches. [/img]

Lots of hours of sanding to go. Used citrus stripping agent for top. But all the bark edges with need meticulous attention.

Update. 14 hours later got poly off. Any ideas for how dark of stain to apply? Appreciate and responses. [/img]

Looking good. I hate sanding with a passion.

Looks good.... I use a heat gun and a scraper to remove poly.
