It matters if the change wasn't material.

It doesn't really add up. Altering a contract doesn't do much good when both parties have a copy of the contract.

We need more details.

Exactly. But let's get the pitchforks out for Alleva. Tell us what was altered. That is the important part.

This suite is entirely about a buyout clause. The buyout clause is what LSU altered to make it more favorable to LSU. From the article:

Ewing changed the language regarding the buyout dates from “between 24 months to 36 months” to “between the first day of the 36th month remaining to the last day of the 24th month remaining.” He also changed language in the buyout dates from “between 11 months and 23 months” to “between the first day of the 23rd month remaining to the last day of the 12th month.”
