I'll buy for nieces & nephews until they're adults. They're still fun to shop for b/c they're all under 12, so toys. Once they start hitting the teenage years, it'll be gift cards to their favorite stores.

None of the siblings get anything for our parents since my mother always returns any gift we give them and gives us the money back while telling us not to spend our money on them. After a few Christmases of that, we just stopped

We draw names with my siblings and SO's and there is a $100 limit.

We have a giant family. So everyone gives their parents gifts and everyone under 18. The adults do a gift game

Two people said they didn't want to play this year because no one ever likes their gifts, so I made an Amazon wish list for everyone to add something and then order from. That way at least one person would want whatever it was

Unfortunately my family sucks and there were things like a jewelry cleaner, laundry sorter, immersion blender and fricking towels

But it's really just about all spending time together because otherwise everyone breaks off into small groups

No need for this amount. Homeless can get by on a dollar a day and the tards, well...I'd just give them Monopoly money. They won't know the difference.

Yes. We still do Christmas morning like when I was a kid. Nothing has changed and never will.

I still go Christmas shopping with my dad a day or two before Christmas and buy stuff for my mom. We get up Christmas morning, lots of stuff under the tree and take turns opening presents, same as when I was 6.

I can see you hitting the mother lode at Christmas. But did you walk around talking to yourself and dolls all day long, and always hanging around the adults to feel acceptance?

It will change when mom and dad take the big sleep. Never say never.

We all buy each other a bottle of wine then we all open the bottles and drink them together because it is the only way we can tolerate each other for 5 hours until next Christmas when we see each other again.

I grew up in a big family. And we all ended up having multiple kids, so get togethers are huge.

You and Paige have a lot in common.

Well that just means buy them better presents while you can. When mine got old I started buying them shite I wanted so when they died I got a lot of good shite back. Like my 87 year old dad was going to ride that dirt bike. And I just tell my wife hey I inherited it.
