Yea, it's chickenshit if the consolation bracket doesn't mean anything. I'm gonna write it into the bylaws next year that rosters freeze when you get eliminated

They paid the same amount of money you did to play. Maybe they're competitors and are playing for pride. Sounds like you should step you your WW game.

Is there a rule against it? If not, cry me a river.

Commish should lock teams that aren't in the playoffs

I see no problem with this and encourage it. I'm playing the guy 7th in waiver order and he gets whoever he wants because the first six are out of the playoffs? frick no.

Also you get ridiculed more for last place in my league than you get praise for first (prize money aside). If I'm in the losers bracket (I often am), I'm still trying to win.

you are a little bitch. why should last team in playoffs get the shot at all the best pickups? (depending on your waiver set ups)

Tell the commish to lock eliminated teams once the playoffs start. Problem solved.

I'm out of playoffs and did not put in a claim off of waivers. However, if someone is available a day or two after waivers clear then it's fair game.

Need more background. If it is a keeper league or dynasty I have no issue with it. If it is standard redraft every year they should be taken out back and beaten.

If money is involved, then without a doubt only the teams with a chance to win money should be allowed on waivers.
