Problem with Basketball is Simple

Simmons is wasting himself. His game is to set up teammates for shots. Problem is his teammates have let him down. He needs to demand the ball INSIDE. We need to feed the ball to him inside. He heeds to think about shooting more and passing less. He needs to realize he is too valuable to make stupid fouls. That offensive foul that got him out of the Houston game probably cost us that game.
The Houston guards could not have shot those little floaters in overtime if Ben had been there to swat them away. It was just a stupid, not needed foul.
It is obvious that Elbert was way overrated by recruiting gurus. Same with Blakeney, same with Sampson. Quarterman is way overrated on defense. As someone else pointed out his man beats him time and time agains but yet he is supposed to be a great defensive player.
At this time the team has one great player, one good player Hornsby and a bunch that act like they don't even know what they are doing.

Simmons is not a low post player. He needs to have the ball in his hands every possession and that's not going to happen if we bury him down low. Simmons reminds me of a young Magic who had great ball skills and court awareness but couldn't shoot from the outside.
Simmons can find the open guy, but they have to knock down shots. Someone other than Hornsby has to step up. Simmons needs to be more aggressive and selfish.

No the problem is we need to not stand around and actually run some plays. And we need to play defense, and protect the paint better.

The problem is this team has been allowed to play soft.
