Well that certainly one way for the administration to cover its arse for the lack of support towards Charlie. Media is already shitting on them so this seems like a bit of damage control as well as finally finishing this fricking OC search

Before this, what constituted "lack of support" in your mind?

I've heard this stuff from Steven A Smith, and a few others, about every black coach in a head coaching job at major schools who aren't getting results.


I have to ask anyone who thinks that way... Do you think these programs were willing to hire a black man and purposefully run it down by not showing him "support"?

I mean, Notre Dame, Miami, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, and Penn State.... Did they all do this or going through this to just tank for a few years on purpose?

What's the benefit?
