re: 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' China poster 'racist'

Clearly the Chinese are Alienist - prejudiced and hateful towards non-Earth races - considering how they hate Wookies so much they take them off the poster completely. Wookies are a loving, cute and cuddly race, and should not be mistaken for the aggressive and barbaric battle of Revenge of the Sith. That was not the Wookies, and they didn't do nothing

and, i know this may come as a shock to some black/brown activists, but they're racist as frick to white people, too
asian groups feel they are the superior race, above all otehrs, and have no problems telling anybody else this

You really don't have a fricking clue what you're talking about. China has over 55 groups of ethnicity. It would be saying that Europe is homogeneous society. The Chinese are well aware of racism, it's just the Han majority doesn't give a frick. The very name of their country in their language is xenophobic in the literal translation being "the Middle Kingdom" or "the Center of the World". The Han just believe they are culturally and genetically superior to everyone, with only whitey being in the debate with them. They very openly hate black people (save for Will Smith and basketball players), although I didn't know they had a major issue with Hispanics and Wookies.

Gen Y doesn't really give a frick and actually admire American culture, Gen X thinks that we're to be completely exploited, and the Boomers and up just despise us. Got lots of dirty looks from people my parent's age and older. Yeah, they're racist as frick with me, but they'd always treat me pretty nice because they thought I had money.

I have a feeling the first Chinese poster didn't even have Finn on it, but Disney said that he had to be on it since he's the second main character. The only black guy they want on a poster is Will Smith and maybe his kids, because the Chinese won't see movies where black people are a major focus. They made him as small as they could get away with and hope the Chinese don't take notice of him. Of course it's racist, but simply par for the course for the Chinese.

Hispanic, which is surprising to me that the Chinese would really care about them at all. I only saw Columbians and Argentinians when I was there, not one Mexican or Central American from what I can remember. Maybe they're thinking he's Middle Eastern?

As in I had money. Granted I did have Chinese friends over there, but I knew that I never fully trusted them and they never fully trusted me. Definitely formed much tighter bonds with my American and European friends than Chinese.

Wookies are violent space trash and I don't want my kids going to the same school with them.

from what i know about the chinese, and you can correct me, they don't really trust anyone. they have family and then maybe 1 close friend, but otherwise everyone else is seen as sort of competition. it's Confucian-based. family first and state second...without much time after that for any other alliances

Chinese poster looks like an all around better design. Besides the fact they left Chewy out.

I've learned a lot about this lately. No, they do not.

Ah, must be one of those white hispanics I've heard so much about.
Looks Sephardi to me.

Time to take some notes from the Chinese.

Yes, a prominent black civil rights leader in 1931 just happened to accidentally fall onto a railroad track with an approaching streetcar.
It's commonly believed he was murdered, despite what the police reports say at the time.
