Seriously though...walk in to an office building. Khakis and a polo is pretty normal for the professional cube monkey.

I would argue outside of a couple of cities, people increasingly dress like this.
West coast professionals don't dress up at all in my experience, and the southeast and midwest is definitely button down and khaki territory for a ton of professions.
