If Jimbo was guaranteed to win it all every year here, why didnt he come? Hell, he cant even make to the title game in the powerful ACC!

No one expects any coach to win it all every year. That's such a childish argument.

And Jimbo making the title game? Well, he did that two years ago and won it. Then he made the playoffs last year.

Yes, they missed the ACC title game this year, but finished 10-2 with a close loss to the no. 1 team on the road and a fluky loss to another team. For a "down" year, that ain't too bad.

Well just read the deciding factor that kept Miles here is the Buy Out. Can anyone imagine what it would have been like 7 out of the last 8 years with an offense that didn't rank among the WORST in all of CFB. Chavis said its a shame we didn't win some Championships. Miles is here and with that buy out means NO CHAMPionships

2011 was a great year. But over the last 8 years, it's an outlier. Take it away and you get conference records of:

2008 3-5
2009 5-3
2010 6-2
2012 6-2
2013 5-3
2014 4-4
2015 5-3
TOTAL 34-22

You think that's good enough for a program like ours?

If 2011 was an outlier then 2008 is as well.

If you take out 2008 and 2011 that gives you 31-17 which isnt bad in the SEC west. Not picking sides just pointing out how you picked out the high outlier while not picking out the low skewing the record to something that looks horrible to try to support your argument.

I can think of a handful of degree programs we can shutter to save money.

Maybe those TAF boosters should buy Alexander a Ferrari with some of the savings.

Or maybe they should provide a large donation to the LSU Foundation.

This is so stupid. LSU stands for Louisiana State Univerity, not Louisiana Sports Union.

that's fine, let's take out the highest and the lowest.

That's leaves Miles with an SEC record of 31-17. Not good enough.
