Here's my question..I have no doubt that pitbulls can be a loving dog.....but why can't you get love from a breed of dog that isn't as powerful if it does get violent? Is the love from a pit bull more satisfying than what a lab gives?or are SOME people more interested in the "I'll do what I want" mentality.

These two groups don't want affection from a pet. The image the dog provides to each respectively is the motivating factor.

Spot on. Dogs are a reflection of their owners. The people that want a pit bull are generally trash and mistreat their dogs.
